1. What made you want to compete?
After being injured in Afghanistan and a long road to recovery i needed to challenge myself and find something to push me to become better. I watched my friend Dave Fitz compete with WBFF and i was inspired to take on the challenge!

2. What do you do to stay inspired?
I look at over a dozen scars i have on my body and remember how hard i have worked to accomplish my goals and i push myself harder.

Most recent was Fitness Atlantic 2013
Also started with my first show in Boston in 2012

Family and friends for support

7. Do you use any suppliments? If so, what ones (brands, names, etc)
your basic supplements. glutamine, Arginine, Bcaa’s, fish oils, all that good stuff!!!
I prefer Dymatize iso-100 Whey protein

good core

9. Has fitness changed your life? If so, how?
Of Course!!!

10. What personal fitness goals have you set for yourself?
To Strive and never give up until i become Pro!!

Protein, Carbs, Fats!!!
I WANT PIZZA hahaha!!!

12. What does your workout schedule look like?
bout 5-6 days a week.
target specific muscle groups on each day, lots of supersets!!

Personal Trainer and Student

Become something great to help inspire and push others!!

I love to do races like Tough Mudders

I definitely have to thank my family for always being there for me thru some very tough times i’ve had in my life. Their Support keeps me focused.

17. Do you have any hobbies?
Eat, Sleep, Train….

18. What are challenges that you face that may keep you from reaching your fitness goals?
My Remaining injuries are still a struggle daily.
Permanent Nerve Damage, Bullet still in my leg, Ball bearing in Back, and three other pieces of broken metal shrapnel thru out my body!!

19. What obstacles have you overcome to be where you are?
I served over 6yrs in the U.S. Marine Corps…. Three Years ago(2010) i was hit with a IED(BOMB) in Afghanistan which could have left me for dead. Over a dozen scars all over my body, was in a wheelchair had a paralyzed right arm. Metal, Glass, Shrapnel, and Bullets in every limb of my body. Went thru 5 surgeries started walking with a cane, lots of Physical therapy to bring my Arm back. Today i still live with the memories of that day along with many scars.. there is still a bullet in my leg, a ball bearing in my lower back, and 3 other broken pieces of shrapnel in my body. I have Permanent Nerve damage in my right Arm and left Leg. 2 bulged disk in my lower back.

I like to try and help people continue to push themselves when they feel they CANT do things or just try to settle for AVERAGE.. We should never just settle for Average. your body is an Amazing thing and you only have one.. Treat it well and push it to it’s limits andyou will be amazed at the things you are capable of doing. There is nothing that you cannot do if you set your mind to it. I hate when people say they CANT do something or it’s just not possible.. Anything is possible and I can only hope that i can inspire at least one person to continue to strive for their goals and never give up on them. We as Humans are capable of infinite possibilities and things will always bring us down there will always be obstacles, that doesn’t mean you should quit and give up. Injuries happen life will knock you down and you have to get back up or it will leave you there permanently!!!! Semper Fidelis
