1. What made you want to compete?
After I turned 30, I wanted to challenge myself. It has always been a dream of mine to compete in a fitness competition. I chose the WBFF because the organization has a high standard in their athletes and I want to raise the bar.

2. What do you do to stay inspired?
I look to my coach and team for encouragement and inspiration. I also follow other professional fitness models to aspire to their achievements.

3. What shows have you already been in or plan to be in in the future?
November 9th, 2013 WBFF Rhode Island show will be my first competition. However, I do plan on competing in other WBFF shows in the near future.

4. Who got you started?
My incredible coach Jean-Jacques Barrett WBFF Pro from Team Active Protocol as well as my friend Patrick Corriveau encouraged me to take on this feat.

5. Who do you look to for help now?
I am lucky enough to receive help and guidance from the amazing Michelle MacDonald WBFF Pro, without her I would have never mastered my T-walk. In addition, Meredith Fuller Evangelisti WBFF fitness model competitor and fellow team member helped me immensely for my first competition…

6. Where do you usually workout?
I usually work out at my local gym, VIP GYM in L’Assomption.

7. Do you use any suppliments? If so, what ones (brands, names, etc)
I do in fact use supplements. Currently I use: Dymatize ISO-100 Protein, BIO-X Isolate Whey Protein, Nutrabolics Anabolic State BCAA, Glutamend Glutamine powder, Progressive Muti-Vitamins for Active Women, AllMax CLA capsules, Progressive Fish Oil capsules, Apple Cider Vinegar capsules, Magnesium tablets, Calcium tablets.

8. What are your most noticeable results?
I am known for my V-shape, abs and shoulder definition.

9. Has fitness changed your life? If so, how?
Fitness has definitely changed my life for the better. It has brought so much positivity and healthy habits to my everyday life.

10. What personal fitness goals have you set for yourself?
I am most definitely aiming to win my WBFF Pro Card. I also aspire to become a role model for others with likeminded goals.

11. Describe your diet.
I started my diet 9 weeks out from my first competition. It was my first time ever having to be on a restricted diet regiment but I took on the challenge with open arms. The following weeks my coach and I adjusted my diet, on a week per week basis, as per my body’s response.

12. What does your workout schedule look like?
Honestly, my workout schedule is all dependent on how brutal my coach JJ wants to be… he is the reason I can barely walk some days Haha. Usually I workout once a day, six times a week. However, before my competition I had an intense schedule that brought me to the gym twice a day, five times a week. I never do cardio!

13. What do you do for a living?
I am a correctional Officer in a women’s federal jail.

14. What are your personal non-fitness goals?
I would like to move to L.A. and open my own weight loss and health resort. I also aspire to travel and discover new destinations. Moreover, it has always been a dream to write and publish my very own novel.

15. Have you participated in any other sports?
When I was in high school I played in a AAA basketball league and attended a special school for athletes. I now enjoy, muay thai, surfing, crossfit, longboarding and softball.

I would like to thank my girlfriend Tanya Nesi, my sister Marie-Noelle Ethier, my close friends, my coach Jean-Jacques Barrett and his wife Michelle MacDonald, The Active Protocol Team, my other fellow fitness friends, and the lovely Bernadette Bedard from Passion Fruit Designs.

17. Do you have any hobbies?
On my spare time, I love to ride my Harley-Davidson motorcycle, read and write, add to my body art collection, attend theatrical shows and musical concerts… and obviously eat chocolate 😉

18. What are challenges that you face that may keep you from reaching your fitness goals?
My work schedule is very grueling; I work 12 hour shifts, day and night. This type of demanding scheduling can be challenging at times.

19. What obstacles have you overcome to be where you are?
In 2012, I endured a severe injury to my right leg during SWAT training. I was forced into a year sabbatical and an intense rehabilitation program to learn how to walk again. Even though I have sustained permanent damage, I stay positive and adjust my workouts to exceed my own expectations.
