1. What made you want to compete?
I wanted to get in the best shape of my life. I wanted to discover more about myself and push myself to my limits. It was something that was on my bucket list!

2. What do you do to stay inspired?
I like to read and learn more about fitness to stay inspired. I love trying new workouts and challenging myself. Results help me to stay inspired. My coach, the lovely Nicole Costa is always an inspiration to me, and pushes me to be my best.

3. What shows have you already been in or plan to be in in the future?
My first competition was the WBFF Fitness Atlantic in Apirl 2013. It was one of the best days of my life. I met so many inspiring people and had so much fun the entire day! My best advice is first time competitor is to just HAVE FUN, enjoy every moment and take it all in.

4. Who got you started?
I could not have done this without the guidance and coaching of Nicole Costa, of Body Rock RI. She got me started on a meal plan, challenging workouts, and has helped me with my diva walk!

5. Who do you look to for help now?
My coach, my friends, family, my boyfriend, and fellow competitors. Throughout this journey I have made so many friends, who continually push me and help me to be my best. I look at the other girls at Body Rock not as competition, but as my friends. My only competition is myself.

6. Where do you usually workout?
Fit World in Cranston…and of course, Body Rock RI!

7. Do you use any suppliments? If so, what ones (brands, names, etc)
Advocare is where I get most of my suppliments from. Their products are fantastic and really help get me through some tough comp prep days.

8. What are your most noticeable results?
I have worked hard to put on muscle. It takes time, persistance, and patience. It may not look like much to others, but I know I worked hard to get where I am today.

9. Has fitness changed your life? If so, how?
Fitness has definitely changed my life. I used to be one of those girls who drove to the gym only to do cardio for an hour. Finally, I discovered what lifting can do for a woman’s body! I absolutely love lifting and cannot get enough. Lifting makes me feel strong and empowered. My fitness journey has made me a more confident person in all aspects of my life.

10. What personal fitness goals have you set for yourself?
My personal fitness goal currently is to compete with the WBFF November 9th, and bring a better package than I did in April. My competition is myself, and I just want to continually improve myself. I believe life and fitness is all about growing, learning, and improving yourself.

11. Describe your diet.
My diet consists of 5 meals per day, everything is measured and prepared ahead of time. Failure to prepare, is preparing to fail! Lean protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats….and of course, lots of H2O!

12. What does your workout schedule look like?
Currently, I train with weights 5 days per week, and cardio a few days a week in the morning. Every Saturday morning I take Build A Booty class at Body Rock RI….I refuse to miss a class! Nicole is constantly changing my workouts to keep me challenged!

13. What do you do for a living?
I work at NBC in sales as an Account Manager.

14. Here you can mention your family/thank you’s.
Thank you to my family and friends who have always supported me. Without a good support system, competing can be extremely difficult. And of course…the biggest thank you goes out to my boyfriend, Chris, who puts up with chicken and asparagus being the only thing to eat, who comes to my shows, and listens to me complain when I need to. He has always supported me and my dreams and I cannot thank him enough.
