1. What made you want to compete?
I have always been interested in fitness and nutrition and as a regular gym goer I wanted to find the next challenge that would take my body to the next level. I read many articles about other competitors and was amazed by the dedication and hard work it took to get on stage.
2. What do you do to stay inspired?
To stay inspired I focus on my Long term goals, but I take it day by day. I look at pictures of other individuals who motivate me and who have competed before.
3. What shows have you already been in or plan to be in in the future?
This is my first show, but It will not be my last.
4. Who got you started?
I began training with my younger brothers who taught me training routines and guided me in the gym. I trained with them and alone for many years and recently this year decided it was time to take things to another level. I found my coach Janelle Nicolo who is a WBFF pro and has been a great coach and mentor for the past couple of months.
5. Who do you look to for help now?
Aside from my coach and her wonderful team of athletes, my boyfriend has been my rock and support throughout this journey. I am blessed to have such a wonderful, supporting person in my life. Him along with my family have provided me with help when I have needed it the most.
6. Where do you usually workout?
I typically train at Work Out World because of its convenient hours, it allows me to train at any time during the day. (4am for me)
7. Do you use any suppliments? If so, what ones (brands, names, etc)
I typically stick to clean foods, but I take a multi-vitamin, a long with some high quality whey protein.
8. What are your most noticeable results?
My entire body has evolved, I am more defined than ever. My glutes, arms and shoulders are my most noticeable results.
9. Has fitness changed your life? If so, how?
Fitness has taught me that hard work speaks for itself. Prepping for a show has been one of the most challenging things I have done, but one of the most rewarding. Fitness gives you control of your body, it helps show you how strong you really are, not only mentally but physically.
10. What personal fitness goals have you set for yourself?
I have set a goal to become a WBFF pro, I also want to become a certified personal trainer. I want to continue learning about my body and what it can do.
11. Describe your diet.
I currently am on a diet that includes a lot of lean meats, vegetables some fruit and starches. My typical diet right now involves a lot of chicken, fish, green beans, broccoli, sweet potato, ect.
12. What does your workout schedule look like?
My training is always changing, I am currently training 6x per week with one rest day. I am currently doing a lot of circuits and cardio with some full body splits.
13. What do you do for a living?
I am a recent University of Massachusetts Lowell grad where I obtained my bachelors, I have been employee for 1 yr as a client services associate. I plan to obtain my MBA in the next couple of years, along with continuing my fitness journey.
14. What are your personal non-fitness goals?
My personal goals again are to obtain my MBA, become a certified personal trainer and continue to challenge myself everyday.
15. Have you participated in any other sports?
I have not. I was not very active growing up, and now is one of my passions.

I want to give a big thank you to my boyfriend, Moises, this wonderful man has been my rock and support throughout this journey. My family for supporting my decisions, and my coach for being a great role model.
17. Do you have any hobbies?
I love to cook (even if I cant eat it), I love seeing others enjoy what I make.
18. What are challenges that you face that may keep you from reaching your fitness goals?
Challenges I have faced are keeping balance between family/social life and doing what needs to be done. Also expecting results too quickly, I have learned to enjoy the process and allow it to work its magic.
19. What obstacles have you overcome to be where you are?
Negative comments from other people who don’t understand what you are doing I think is a big obstacle many competitors face. I always focus on my end goal, and I don’t let other peoples ideas of what I do get to me.
20. Is there anything else you would like to add that you think we’ve missed?
I am so excited to get on stage, this has been one of my dreams for many years.
